We are so very grateful for the opportunity to serve God in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, the city of champions. Since we arrived in Tuscaloosa in 2016, our lives have been changed for the better in ways that we never imagined. It is our hearts desire that you and every person who connects with Bethel Worship Center will find us to be a church that is a house of hope – whether in person or online – that your life would be transformed by the teaching, preaching and singing of the Word of God in love. It is also our hearts desire that your life, your family’s life and the life of your friends and coworkers would be improved as you learn to apply and demonstrate His Word in your daily life.
We encourage you to take advantage of all that Bethel has to offer, from the Bible-based teachings and life-changing conferences and events to the opportunities to serve and use your God-given gifts and talents to serve God and others in our community and abroad.
Sebrena and I thank God always for the testimonies of breakthrough, healing, restoration, and reconciliation that we hear from people who have experienced our ministry, who connected to this church, and who have been a part of our lives. At Bethel Worship Center, we pray and believe that one day your testimony will become one of them, because of your experiences with God through the ministry of this church.
Dr. Ronnie Jackson is the Founding Pastor of Bethel Worship Center located in Tuscaloosa, AL. He is a native of Macon, Georgia and is married to the former Dr. M. Sebrena Mainor of Cordele, GA.
Pastor Ronnie has over 16 years of pastoral leadership experience. His pastoral leadership has spanned diverse geographic locations beginning with serving in a rural Baptist church that was over 100 years old, to a metropolitan city serving as pastor over a church merger, to launching a start-up ministry in an urban community with deep college town roots.
Pastor Ronnie is committed to discipling and developing sound Christian Leaders to serve in the local church and the community. He enjoys creating new member teaching modules, developing and conducting church leadership development trainings and developing training materials for the licensing and ordination of ministers. Pastor Ronnie has a love for education at all levels. For over 25 years, Dr. Jackson has worked extensively with youth, adults and families. He formerly founded a Christian Academy and has leadership experience in student affairs, enrollment management and student leadership. Pastor Ronnie has co-authored a self-help relationship book and believes in the benefits of pre marital counseling and marriage counseling for Christian couples. Pastor Ronnie earned his BA in Mass Communications as a Graduate of Fort Valley State University, GA; earned his Master of Business Administration as a Graduate of Keller Graduate School of Business, Atlanta, GA; earned his Master of Higher Education Administration as a Graduate of the University of Alabama and earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Clark Atlanta University.
Pastor Ronnie believes that ministry should begin in our homes and with our families and then with everyone else we come in contact with, which is why discipleship, fellowship and serving are so vitally important to Bethel Worship Center. He believes that when the anointed Word of God is applied to our conditions, it’s able to save lost souls, renew troubled minds, heal and change the lives of those who humble themselves and have faith to receive it.
